The recommended dose of Duovir-n tablets for adults is one 200 mg tablet per day and it should be taken daily for the first 14 days and after that an increase in the Duovir-n dosage may be done and a dose of 200 mg tablet can be taken but twice in a day along with other antiretroviral agents. For concomitant usage of these tablets with antiretroviral therapy, recommended dosage and monitoring should be followed as directed by your doctor.

Pediatric patients who are 15 days old or older than that the recommended oral dose is 150 mg/m2 once and should be given for 14 days. After that they may be administered a dose of150 mg/m2 which should be taken twice daily. But at no cost, the pediatric patients may be given a dose of 400mg in a day.
